5 Myths About Wilt Chamberlain

March 14, 2022

"Wilt Chamberlain was a selfish player. He played to score, not to pass." Wilt Chamberlain received approximately 100 passes per game throughout his career. That's more than all but 3 or 4 players do today. Of course, unlike Michael Jordan, who averaged about 40 points in the same period of time, Chamberlain was not playing against anybody who could stop him. If you ever saw Chamberlain play, you'd remember how unimaginably quick he was for his size - the man ran faster than most of today's guards.

He could easily outrace any player trying to guard him. That meant that all he had to do was get past the other player and he would be in the clear. Once Chamberlain was ahead, it was over - there was no way he'd get caught from behind by anybody except Wilt himself. And if you think that the opposing players weren't trying to stop him, consider this: In one game against San Francisco, Chamberlain got 39 rebounds - higher than any player has gotten in one game since.

How did wilt lose his arm?

Wilt Chamberlain is the only man to ever score 100 points in an NBA game. He scored 60 or more points 47 times during his career (including a 100-point game and two games where he scored 73). No other player has done that even once. He averaged 50.4 ppg over his first 7 seasons, and Wilt himself has said he could have averaged over 50 every year if they would have kept him in the game. Nobody can deny that Wilt Chamberlain was an incredibly talented offensive player - the only wonder is how much more dominant he might have been if he had played in a different era against better competition.

Wilt Chamberlain was not a good free throw shooter.

That is a myth, too. Wilt Chamberlain's high school coach taught him to shoot free throws underhanded, and he continued to use that technique throughout his career. However, the release was different - he released the ball three-quarters of the way up instead of at the top like Rick Barry. That one inch made all the difference in the world.

Wilt Chamberlain was not a great passer.

To the contrary, Chamberlain was one of the best passing forwards in basketball history. He led his teams to championships with pinpoint passing. For proof, look no further than his performance against Bill Russell during the 1969 NBA Finals (the year after he scored 100 points in a game). On February 2nd of that year, Chamberlain got 19 assists in a game, which went down as the second highest total in NBA history until Magic Johnson tied it.

Wilt Chamberlain did not have a good jump shot.

This is one myth that's true. Chamberlain had a pretty bad jump shot. However, he was not required to rely on his jumper very often because of the way he dominated in the key. He made up for it by being an incredible offensive rebounder - nobody ever attacked the boards like Wilt Chamberlain did. It was said that he was like "two men in one" because he could rebound like a forward and score like a center.

He led the league in rebounding for 11 consecutive years, averaging 22 rebounds per game over his career, which is just about average for an entire game by one player today. Wilt Chamberlain would have made an excellent small forward if he had been able to develop a better jump shot.

Wilt Chamberlain did not dunk very often or very well.

Disregard this myth. Wilt Chamberlain did indeed dunk often - he was credited with more than 5,000 dunks in his career. And many of them were overhanded, no-look, behind the back slams that left opponents and fans open-mouthed in disbelief. As for how well he dunked, let's just say he had two rings and leave it at that.

5 Games Like Cards Against Humanity

March 14, 2022

Cards Against Humanity is an easy-to-play but hard to master party game. The gameplay involves a combination of black and white cards, with the white cards asking questions which require filling in a blank to receive points. Meanwhile, the black cards contain statements that people would find offensive or hilarious. Questions and statements are read out by one player, while other players select their favourites to receive points.

It's a game that requires some serious thinking outside of the box, not just when playing but during set-up too. There are thousands of combinations of black and white cards on the market, with fans encouraged to create their own custom collections.

However, what if you don't want to constantly come up with your own questions and statements? Well, there are plenty of alternatives available that will give you the same great experience. Here we look at five games like Cards Against Humanity for PC and Mac users.

Which cards against humanity should i buy to

The base game is excellent for up to 10 players, whereas the NSFW edition comes in at around 100 cards. So if you want several different decks of cards so that lots of different people can play, go for NSFW. If you live in a household with children who shouldn't read the NSFW cards and want to play this game with your parents or other adults, get the base game.

1) Codenames

Codenames offers a different style of play than Cards Against Humanity, but does have a similar sense of humour. The game is played in teams, with players giving clues that will help their team guess the correct keywords to identify cards on the table.

The longer you can keep your team alive by guessing these correctly, the more points you'll score. However, if both words are guessed this will lead to an enemy agent being chosen instead. What makes this even harder is that each team shares a victory point tally, so you not only have to try and guess the correct cards but also avoid your opponents doing the same.

2) Scrawl

Scrawl is similar in style to Pictionary, with players using their own pen and paper to draw images that will help their team guess a word. However, there are plenty of twists to this classic idea.

Firstly, you're not drawing anything but words. Secondly, these can be drawn however players choose – even if that's just a scribble – as long as their team can guess what it is. And finally, the time limit means that all players must constantly be thinking on their feet.

3) The Voting Game

The Voting Game offers a totally different experience to Cards Against Humanity, although you'll still need the same skills to succeed. Here players must guess which of their colleagues has voted for each statement in order to gain points. However, there's more than one rule that will leave you scratching your head.

Firstly, you'll need to consider which players you want to vote for and against. Secondly, there's a wild card that allows certain players to cast votes for both sides of an argument – so always watch out for this Joker! Finally, play it smart by rewarding those who correctly guess your voting pattern – but don't go overboard or you'll lose points.

4) TriBond

While Cards Against Humanity can be played in teams, TriBond is a game that's strictly 1v1. You will need to use your smarts though, as the aim of the game is to identify items that are linked together through all three words on each card. Don't be fooled into thinking that the words are just random either, as there's plenty of thematic meaning behind every answer.

For example, you might be asked to identify items linked by body parts (i.e. muscle, nerve and bone), or even symbiotic relationships (i.e bee, flower and pollen). You'll need to be quick to succeed, but think logically too.

Conclusion

If you are looking to buy Cards Against Humanity but are unsure of how many people will play it at once, I would recommend the Bigger, Blacker Box. As well as including both the base game and NSFW editions of Cards Against Humanity, this edition also comes with several new cards plus blank cards for people to write their own.

5 Fastest Players in the NFL 2020

March 14, 2022

Much to everyone's surprise, no wide receivers made the top 5 of this list. The fastest player in 2020 is not a rookie nor is he one that many would have predicted.

The former Heisman Trophy winner and 2 x AP Offensive Rookie of the Year is the only quarterback to make this list.  RG3 has been dogged with injury problems since his rookie year but he still possesses elite speed and athleticism.

Fastest player in the nfl 2020 rankings

1. New England Patriots Quarterback

2. Arizona Cardinals Running Back

3. Pittsburgh Steelers Free Safety

4. Green Bay Packers Running Back

5. Baltimore Ravens Linebacker / Return Specialist

Patrick Mahomes, QB for the Kansas City Chiefs

Edges ahead of Cam Newton for the number 2 spot. The new face of the league, Mahomes is a strong-armed cannon from Texas Tech who can move with surprising speed and fluidity. He only turns 24 in 2020 so expect him to be a top 5 player on this list for many years to come.

Charles has been the best running back in the league for quite some time now. Despite his advanced age, he churns out 1,000 yard seasons like clockwork. His speed is still elite but many wonder if AP will hang up the cleats before 2020 ends.

DeAndre Hopkins, WR for the Houston Texans

An elite wide receiver for the Texans, Hopkins can outpace just about any corner in the league with his dynamic speed and quickness. He is a perennial Pro Bowler and one of the faces of the NFL.

Joe Schobert, LB for the Cleveland Browns

The most surprising entry on this list is linebacker Joe Shobert. Shobert has been one of the best linebackers in the league since his rookie season but people are still surprised to see him on this list. The Browns linebacker stands at 6'1" and weighs 240lbs, giving him a size advantage over most receivers.

Saquon Barkley, RB for the New York Giants

Barkley rounds out the top 5. One of the most dynamic players in the league, Barkley is a threat to score any time he touches the ball. Used sparingly as a receiver out of the backfield by new head coach Pat Shurmur, Barkley will have plenty of highlight plays for his 2020 reel.

Running Back Signs New Six-Year, $88 Million Deal

Ezekiel Elliott has signed a new 6 year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. The deal, worth an expected $88 million will keep the running back in Dallas for the foreseeable future and be one of the highest paid players in 2020. At just 23 years old, Elliott is only going to get better as he enters the prime of his career.

Alvin Kamara, RB for the New Orleans Saints

Kamara, a rookie in 2020 signs a new deal with the Saints. Kamara was a second round pick in 2017 and has been a dynamic force for one of the league's best offenses. The New Orleans Saints have been struggling to get their salary cap under control but have finally reached an agreement with one of their young players.

It was an injury that ended his career. Marshawn Lynch hung up his cleats after suffering a torn ACL while making what would have been the game winning catch in week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals. A graduate of Oakland Technical High School, Lynch had announced his retirement two weeks earlier but the injury meant this was the end of a fantastic career. The former Cal Bear and Seahawk had a short stop in Oakland after leaving Seattle but it wasn't long before he found his way back to the Emerald City, signing with his hometown team for one more season.

4 players can play at once on Wii!

March 14, 2022

Wii will support from 2 to 4 players, and it's possible for 4 people to play at the same time.

In that way, Wii can be a family entertainment machine as well as a party machine! Wii Sports will have multiplayer mode. Up to 4 players can play together by holding only one controller each.

What is Wii?

I think that this is really cool. I have a big family so being able to play with all my cousins at the same time would be amazing!

Also games like Super Smash Bros are always better when you're playing against other people. It makes it more fun, and keeps things interesting.

This is definitely one of the things I'm looking forward to about Wii.

This is really neat. It would be interesting to see how Nintendo will implement this feature into games considering that you can play against other people with just one controller each!

Games like Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., etc. all seem like they would work well with 4 players playing simultaneously.

However, none of the games Nintendo has shown off so far support this feature.

I don't think any Wii game will support 4 players until its third party developers start making their own games.

Nintendo Wii 4-Remote Connections

Appearances can be deceiving. When you look at the bottom of the Wii remote, it might even appear that four Wii remotes cannot connect to one another at all.

This is because the plugs are so compacted together. Here's how to set up four remotes:

Make sure that the Wii remote you want to use as a master controller is plugged into an open USB port on your computer.

Plug each additional Wii remote into one of the other open USB ports around your PC.

Turn on your computer and load up the Virtual Wiimote software. You should now see four separate, active Wii remote icons on your screen.

Click on the arrow button in the Virtual Wiimote window to disconnect one of the active remotes from your PC.

Pick up that Wii remote and click and hold down the red sync button at the bottom, next to where you plug it into a Wii console. Hold it down for five seconds or so, then plug the remote back into one of your USB ports.

Repeat this process for each Wii remote you intend to use at a time, always disconnecting a Wii remote from Virtual Wiimote before starting the sync process with another Wii remote plugged in to a different USB port on your PC.

Tips for playing together as a team

Having a Wii is only half the fun. Playing games together as a family or with friends makes gaming even more exciting!

Keep these tips in mind when you're playing multiplayer games to have the best experience possible:

Make sure each player has their own controller and screen so they don't have to share.

Some players might be better at different games, so let them play the ones they're good at.

If you're playing a game with lots of players, make sure there's one person who knows all the best strategies and can lead everyone to victory!

Wii game for 4 players

The Wii game for 4 players will be released at the same time as Nintendo Wii.

It is possible to play with maximum 4 people simultaneously, so it can also be family entertainment machine.

Wii Sports can be played with four people by holding only one controller each.

However, other than that nothing else has been announced yet.

It seems that there are not even plans for this function.

Conclusion:

Nintendo Wii will be released at the same time as Nintendo Wii game for 4 players.

It's possible to play with maximum 4 people simultaneously, so it can also be family entertainment machine.
